Important Notice for Schools:
Benedict’s Law and Allergy Awareness Training
From September 2026, schools in England are expected to take clearer action around allergy awareness, prevention and emergency response, following the Government’s commitment to introduce statutory allergy guidance through Benedict’s Law.
According to Anaphylaxis UK, this will include a stronger focus on whole-school allergy policies, staff training, emergency medication and individual care plans for pupils with serious allergies.
If your school needs staff training in allergy awareness, anaphylaxis response or the use of adrenaline auto-injectors from September onwards, please contact me to discuss dates and arrangements.

“We recently asked L & R First Aid Training to deliver vital first aid training for our staff, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Following an incident at our premises, we realised just how essential it is for all staff to be first aid trained.
Jill kindly came in on a Sunday evening, outside of normal working hours, and was incredibly accommodating. The training was clear, practical, and engaging, covering essential skills such as dealing with choking and bleeding, CPR, and how to confidently use a defibrillator.
We now feel far more prepared and confident as a team, and we would highly recommend L & R First Aid Training to any organisation looking for high-quality, professional first aid training.”

Jill was very patient and answered all questions asked without making anyone feel silly for asking.
